Default Interesting fan blower issue

1996 Chevy Blazer; Fan blower started just stopping about a month ago. I'd mess with the gear shift lever, the tilt wheel, or shake the steering wheel and it would come back on. Dead now. What's going on? I thought I heard something about some kind of wiring issue in the steering column once.

Only thing that comes to mind is that the power for the fan goes through the ignition switch located on the steering column. I do not have a wiring diargram for a '96 and only guessing that power is routed through the switch, which has somewhat failed...and is why shaking the steering wheel will cause the fan to come back on.

Suggest taking the lower trim panels off and taking a good look and wiggling of wires around.
