Interior fuse panel switch?

I just bought a 2000 ZR2 blazer and i was curious as to what the switch inside the driver side interior fuse panel does. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

its not factory, must be alarm or remote start. gm didnt put it there

When the door is open and the key is in and you push on it does the buzzer stop?

still never figured out what this switch does and probably never will. unless i take the time to trace wires or something :P
