I have a 97 blazer, Just recently non of my interior lights will shut off when I shut the doors, car engine off or on. I have to pull the fuse out so the battery doesnt die.
Can anyone help?
Thanks

Probably a door switch.

or dimmer switch, does rear stay on too. what i do is to just pull one side of the bulb out. alot easier then a fuse and kinda acts like a manuel dome switch. lol

Remove the door switches one at a time. When the interior lights go out, you have found the faulty switch. You probably have one shorted to ground.

This is correct. Check all the door jam switches even the one for the tail gate. If one of them is faulty (grounded constant) then your lights wont go off when everything is closed. The only other thing that would cause it is if its a 4 door and the rear door(s) are misaligned, if this happens then it does not contact the switch correctly.

I had this same problem with my Jimmy a couple of months ago. I was one of the door jamb switches. Took a little detective work to find the right rear switch was bad.
