my dome lights wont shut off.

Default my dome lights wont shut off.

I have a 99 jimmy and the dome lights wont shut off .unless I shut off the override switch .I have no switches on the hatch or glass all the door switches good.But on front pass side has no wire and can not find a wire.

When you say override switch, do you mean the one in the back, next to the rear dome light? I'm not sure how your 99 differs from my 95, but I had a problem where the switch for the rear glass wasn't being fully depressed, and the dome lights would stay on.

no its a button on the dash I have no shut off switch in the back.

As maybe you know its a ground system - you stated you have a switch without a wire on it - its more than likely that it's there somewhere and grounded out - look well behind the kick pannel beside your feet under the dash, it could have worked it's way under carpet, into body pannels ect.- my 97 blazer LS also has a switch's at the door handles. if yours has the same one of them could be bad also
