I own a 1999 Japanese LT Blazer that is factory built right hand drive and love it. I wanted to get RKE going on it as it didn't have it when I bought it, so did some homework here and on the net and found I had the right code in glove box listing. I checked plenty of sites and worked out which remote I needed and they all came back to the same one, so I bought 2 from e-bay.

Got the remotes and try to program them, can get the car into locking programming mode but nothing with the remotes. Did some more research and again all pointed to the remotes I purchased. I then had a look at the module under the dash, which didn't have any FCC number on it, but not sure if that's because it was for the Japanese market. Anyways it did have a part number, so checked that and confirmed via several sites that it was the RKE module, so I know my car has it.

But still can't program the remotes. The e-bay seller is a big seller and confirmed that they worked prior to shipping. I have checked the batteries and they have correct voltage. He is now suggesting I may need a different remote, but that is listed for cars made from 2001 onwards so not sure.

Does anyone have any suggestions please?
