Smile K&N Air Filter

Just overall opinion question what you guys think are better, just a stock filter or cold air intake----is there really any gains in intake versus regular k&n stock filter, I have heard both ways. I have had the filters before in my 2002 and liked it and gave nice sound on startup and take off and all, but not sure if really worth spending the extra money and certainly not if an intake is worth the expense. These trucks as all area learning experience and its just nice to know other people opinions. Right now it currently has a afe pro dryflow filter in a 2004 blazer, zr2. Thanks for any info.

Personally, I LOVE my cold air intake. Very good throaty sound and great throttle response since installing. Also, between that and my Hypertech (installed them at the same time) my MPG has gone from 15.5 to 16.9.
