Default Key fob unlock button to start

Hello,

I've recently bought a 2000 Blazer LT 4.3 V6. De vehicle starts correctly but i'm obliged to use the key fob unlock button.
So, I turn the key to the first position. The security light comes on. If I want to start the engine, the truck won't start. I can only start the truck if I push on the unlock button (on the key fob) first.

It's an issue because my key fob is an old one. Sometimes, I have to push several times to be able to start the car. When I see people starting thier vehicle on youtube, they don't use the key fob. They are just turning the key.

Can you help me.

Are you sure you have a GM/Chevrolet key fob?
Is there an aftermarket alarm system installed?

I'm not sure. I'm not the first owner. It looks like à GM key fob.
