License Plate Lights

License Plate Lights
I've got a '97 Blazer and just recently put on a '98+ rear bumper. My original rear bumper had one license plate light with two wires into a connector. The newer bumper had two lights and four wires going into a connector. Obviously I can't plug the new lights into the original connector. Is there any kind of adapter for this or can I just use the original two wire connector and connect the 4 new wires into it some way? Thanks.

I'd say don't cross your wires and you oughta be able to take a butt splice and splice the positive's together and the negative's together and put on the original connector that way and plug it up with the original, or if you feel up to it, split the wires into 2 each by putting some kind of Y in it and use the newer connector, make sure you take off the negative cable before workin with it so you don't short somethin out if the wires touch
