light under the hood

Default light under the hood
I bought a 95 blazer and underneath the hood there is a light but it does not work. there is a cord hanging from it with a clip that looks like it needs to be plugged in somewhere but i dont know where. does anyone know where to plug in this cord or get this light working?

should go on rear firewall behind the motor to a little block with other wires leading to it..
