Does anyone know how these are supposed to work? Mine appears to be grounded out. Also which fuse circuit is it on? This is a 92 4door 4x4. Thanks for any and all help on this. Sunfish

 

On my 89 the fuse is in the wire leading up to the light. It is fed from a bracket with a stud that has +12V directly from the battery. The bracket is attached to the firewall.

 

and they run off a mercury switch mounted somewhere on the hood.. not sure of the location as I have not had to search for it.

 

I believe the mercury switch is part of the light bulb housing.

 

Thanks to all I found that it was pulled apart between the bracket and the light. I'm thinking someone was working on something and it might have been in their eyes so they unplugged it and they just left it that way.
