Default limp mode with code

need some help, i have a 1996 4x4 blazer thats in limp mode and is pulling a code p1886....ive replaced the shift solenoids, had all my ground wires checked, but this code is still present...any ideas what the problem could be? Also, it only goes in limp mode after it warms up, but if i turn it off for longer than 2 minutes, i can restart it, then it starts in first, hard shift to 2nd, then third, then back to limp mode......help!!!!

I'm not sure what a p1886 would be it is not listed in the OBD II troubleshooting codes list.

https://blazerforum.com/forum/tech-articles-diy-29/posted-obdii-trouble-code-diagnosis-26408/

but I know that a bad ecm or bad camshaft position sensor will cause it to go into limp mode.

from what autozone's scanner reads, smh, its a 3-2 shift solenoid valve assembly circuit electrical fault.....explanation: ECM has detected an open or short to ground in 3-2 SS valve assembly.....probable cause: open or short circuit condition, poor electrical connection......

did you check continuity in the wire from the ecm to the transmission plug?

don't ask me what wire, I have no idea....
