Getting ready to make the move from MI to TX this week and I have a few questions. Recently the truck has been leaving about dime sized markings on the ground so I crawled underneath her today to take a peak. I noticed that the seal in the front diff was leaking (second time) which is no biggie. The second one I noticed was a decent amount of fluid collected on the bottom of the oil pan. Doesn't smell like oil and it has a pinkish color to it. Now the only thing I can possibly think is tranny fluid. Nothing coming from the tranny pan tho. Also there was pinkish fluid on the two lines that run above the oil filter (nothing coming from the tranny lines connected to the radiator). The last question I have is where the tranny and engine meet there are two rubber boots in between, are the boots normally supposed to be there? that seems to be where the fluid is building around. I appreciate all the help in advance.
