loud wind howl

Default loud wind howl

can any 1 here gimme sum tipz bout a loud wind noise comin in from the passager side door i just wonderin how i can get rid of it cuz it gettin kinda loud. it mostly comes in at the top of the door right at tha arch if any 1's got ne info bout this please help


oh and by the way this web site totally rocks ever since i found this place and put ta use some of the tips and how to's my blazer is runnin 110% better then it was tha day i bought it thanks to all for ur knowledge and tipz

I would check your weather stripping...some times it can come un glued..or it might be time to replace it...otherwise it might be that your window isn't sitting flush with the window frame..what about your rain shields? do you have those? one edge might be loose

also make sure that your door isnt sagging. like check your bushings and hinges between the door and the truck

Take a sheet of paper and put it between the window rubber and the door frame and close the door , if you can move the sheet of paper freely you have too much of a space between the door and the door opening and need to adjust it ...
To adjust it you will have to put your knee on the door and pull on the door post where the paper is slipping until it gets tight ..
This is kinda hard to explain but a body shop could do it in 5 minutes ...
