Default Lug Nuts Vibrating Loose

Anyone else have this problem with their s10? This has happened to one of my friends twice and now to me... He says its common but i wanted to ask you guys

Mine always seem to get tighter. I tighten them up to about 45 ft. lb. then tighten them to 95, I believe that's where they're supposed to be.

well id rather have them get tighter than get loose and fall off... we are lucky we just stopped at a stop sign and weren't going 75... im sure this never happens to most of the people on here because most of the blazers on here are well taken care of

I just looked it up.I was wrong on that torque.

Wow did not know there was a torqueing sequence... just hand tighten them and used my torque wrench from walmart. Next time I'll do the 60, 80, 100ft/lbs. Learn something everyday on this forum!

I always torqued mine to 100 ft/lbs and never had a problem with them falling off.

I've wrecked 4 lug nuts by rounding the edges trying so hard to get them off, so no, they aren't coming loose. lol
