Default Master cyclinder problem?

Today I went to bleed the brakes and noticed that without resevoir cap on the MC it blows fluid out like crazy.. Thinkin thats a bad thing I got a new MC and found it does the same.. I call some guy at advance auto and he says that's normal but I don't see how and I can't seem the get them to bleed right. It blows out the top like it's pushing air up the holes the fluid should be goin down.. Thanks a lot for your help.

It is normal. make sure the reservoir cap is on, or you'll have brake fluid everywhere.

As long as the brake fluid is covering the bottom of the master cylinder reservoir, there is no way to get air into the system. The spray up comes from the equalization port at the bottom of the master cylinder reservoir.
