Good to hear the blazer is running again...Im in Edmonton and on Sat night we were the coldest city in the world, it hit -47c before wind chill and went outside on sunday morning and my front right tire had defalated to around 15psi. Its warming up here though, its only -32c today!!

Ya its minus 27 here right now with a wind chill warning of minus 40

it sounds like the (IAC) idle air controler got stuck in the cold. cleaning it might prevent it from happening again. since after you drove it and ran the enging over and over to keep it warm it ran fine. its cold as hell in your town so unless you park in a warm garage it could have gotten some condensation inside the iac and froze and with the carbon buildup that will happen on these engines. clean the bugger out to be safe.
