Default Misc Part Found In Driveway

Hi Everyone,

I know it's a long shot but if anyone could help me identify this part I found in my driveway where I usually park my 1996 blazer it would be greatly appreciated. I'm fairly sure after 26 years it rusted off of something it's just I don't know what.

Looks like an exhaust hanger to me. Not sure, though.

Is the ring rubber? If so, I'll second Tom's assessment that it appears to be an exhaust hanger.

It is an exhaust hanger, but I don't remember any S/T vehicles having those style. I could be wrong though.

At first glance, it looks to me like it's off of a Volkswagen.
