Could you tell me the possible causes. I changed the spark plug checked the wires and the cap and rotor which are all new. It is at a shop rite now and they want to check the computer and then check the spider. Help I am going broke and I am real sick of this lemon. It is a 1996 with CPI. This damn thing is one problem after an other.

Can you take #5 out of the car, plug the wire onto it, ground it, and see if it will fire that way? That will let you know if it's flooding out. And a hard lesson most of us have learned the hard way. Just because something is new doesn't mean it's good.

Yes I did a compression check. An other note. I not only idoles bad it has a loss of power. I will check the spark on monday. Please keep the info coming remember I like every input. The day befor it ran super then in the morning it just started the miss with in 200 yards of starting. I just got done doing major work to it. To include installing a new motor and a complete tune up. This thing has me really pissed off. I know its something simple it is just baffeling me.

The shop after 1.3 hours at 80 bucks an hour came up with the #5 injector is stuck open and I need a new spider. Is that possible to find out with out taking it apart? That was my guess but I was scared to take it apart and replace it with out know that would fix the problem. I have read to many horror stories about people replacing parts with no help. Any input would be appreciated.
