it is South Main Auto hosted by Eric O. , no relation to Eric the Car Guy. Eric O. has many high tech scanners and really knows how to use them. He can diagnose by scanning and then fix the specific problems found. He is a one man operation with his wife in the office scheduling and answering the phone. He is in upstate NY and is constantly fighting with rusting cars. He says the average life of a car is 10 years due to the salt and rust.

Eric's shop is not too far from me (~1hr drive)! I've watched his stuff for quite some time. Fantastic diagnostician!

That would definitely cause the CEL to come on. Thanks for following up with the cause! Have you been able to get it repaired and keep the CEL off?
