most of my warning lights are on

ok so i started my car today and all of the guages werk and my ceiling display werks and they werk correctly. i cant figure out why this happened.

what could have caused this?

so i started my car yesterday and my fuel guage werked and my warning lights were off and the ceiling display werked. what could have made this problem fix itself?

The first thing that comes to mind is a ground issue, but just like a bad ground, a bad wire may still be able to support current provided it is in the proper position. If you moved the harness around and now have everything back, chances are it is only temporary.
