I have a 1995 4.3 CPI...Vin W... I have a 92 4.3 Donor.. is it possible to use the short block from the donor and put my heads,intake etc.. from the old motor??

 

Search for an article entitled Rebuilding the 262 by Doug Anderson (or Andersen - can't remember). It runs down the differences in the early 4.3L engines.

If they both are CPI engines, then maybe, but it would come down to which OBD setup you have on your truck. There are 3 possibilities for '95 and there could be different things about the engine depending.
