My Blazer Just shut off!
I have a Chevy Blazer 98 4WD.
I warmed my car up for 10 minutes and drove it around the corner. Everything was fine. I stepped out the truck about 4 feet to get a paper and the truck just shut off. I tried to turn it back on to no avail, it would not turn over. Also, the steering wheel was very hard to turn and it took a tremendous amount of pressure for me to turn it.
The lights and all that was working fine and dandy at first, but everything began to get a bit dim, after playing with it for a while.
I was doing a bit of research, but did not find anything really useful.
Can anyone please let me know what might be causing this issue?

When you say it won't turn over, do you mean it just plain dead? I had the ignition module go out a couple of years ago. I got to driving an d it just died, no warning just quit. It would turn over the lights and everything were just fine. It ended up costing a bit over $150 labor includedthrough a local service shop.
Hope this is helpful.
