Default Mystery Wire

I recently had some work done on my '01 LT 4x4.
Today I found out that when they put everything back together that they damaged the engine temp sensor connector. No big deal, I plugged it back in and threw a little tape on it - all is well. But when I was in there, I found a single wire melted on the exhaust manifold. Now I have no idea where it goes.
It's a light green/pink wire that originates at the firewall along with the ground for the hood lamp switch. Those are the only two wires that come out of that area, they are taped together for a few inches then come apart with each having its own plastic protective tubing.
If someone could please look under their hood and let me know where this wire goes, I'd be forever grateful. I've looked at a bunch of electrical schematics and can't find a grn/pink wire in any of them.
I do have a remote start, but I highly doubt it's part of that system.
Thanks

Default Single wire pink and green?

I went out to mine and looked but no said wire with pink and green on the same wire. I also looked in my manual but no combination with these colors in any of the diagrams. At the ground terminal on the firewall Mine has the braded cable for the light and a black wire.
