Default Need help bad!!

Hi, first i just want to say i'm a newbie!! Just bought a 99 2dr blazer!!
Well the rear side window trim is faded and looks porous!! Is there a way to fix this? some one said there is a tsb for it and if i can find it gm will take care of it!! PLease help!!

whats a tsb? I dont see GM fixing anything for anyone unless the car is brand new just off the lot. if they warranty every blazer for that item we would all be at the dealer today..that part your talking about can be carefully sanded and repainted... if its that bad ya may have to do sum body work to it to get it looking normal and then repaint it..

TSB = Technical Service Bulletin

A TSB is not like a RECALL. A TSB only gives the technicians ideas for causes of somewhat common problems. You will be charged for work, TSB in hand or not. A RECALL is a safety hazard as defined by the NHTSA and will be performed free of charge if the problem is found to be caused by the defective component.

About your problem, there are a few that have sanded down the affected panel and used the appropriate paints to recoat the area.

Thanks, them moldings on the rear windows are a pain in the rear not to mention very expensive!! any suggestions on what to do for a fix!!?????
