Need help. Stalling idle and runs rough/no power
#81
The re-learn procedure is most probably related to timing the camshaft to a crankshaft. Some of a marine engines are even equipped with a device that allows applying a small timing adjustments (a few degrees) while the engine runs. I bet that would be the same here, except the value is constant and stored while relearning process.

Good to hear you got it running. To answer your question about the camshaft retard parameter...no that is not ignition timing, it is the difference between the camshaft and the crankshaft position data. I was asking to see if the camshaft sensor was working correctly....apparently it is since the engine is running fine with the replacement crankshaft sensor.
Like I said I removed this on my '02 several times and never did the Relearn since I do not have a scan tool that is capable of putting the ECU into this mode.
Again good to hear you got it running....on to the other issues....
