Default Need help water+gas not running

Ok I'm new to this I have worked on vehicles my whole life but only small issues and now I have a big issue and I'll try explain I won't be able to use right terms.

I have a 01 chevy blazer 4x4 4door (they always ask at the auto store)

I have a water leak have had it for a never caused an issue just had to fill more often. 2 weeks I stopped To get gas after filling I tried to start the car go and would turn but not fire, I ended up killing battery and waited 1 1/2hrs for some one come help jump start it. It started and made it 4 miles home heading down my street acting like I was running of gas got out and pulled the air Intake Cover off and there was about 1tsp water sitting on top metal disk inside I cleaned the out and use heat the tank and it sit over night and didn't have any issues.

This last week I have needed to jump start the car 3times and last night I was heading up a hill and felt like my foot was the floor and it felt like the truck was going to stall out, once I turned off the main street I reeved the engine and stalled out. Checked the engine and there was about 1tsp of water again, I dried it out put heat in the tank and let it over night. And it still won't start.

I checked the oil there no water in the oil I'm not sure what is going on with it could someone please help

Sounds like you got water in the tank when you filled up. I can't think of a way water can get into the fuel system otherwise.

I'd give the place you filled up a call and let them know what has happened since you last filled up there. Stranger things have happened. I know of one instance where a station had diesel put in the gas tanks by mistake of the delivery truck. After about 5 or so vehicles died shortly after pulling out the mistake was discovered.

Regardless, I'd say you have water in your tank.

Water sitting on the butterfly valve in the throttle body..???...how is water in the fuel tank getting here...there is no fuel in the throttle body?? Would this be from a spider leak in the intake and the hot engine is turning the water to vapor that then condenses when it cools down?

But if the water was on the butterfly right after the engine shutdown....that kills that idea.

Guess you could disconnect the fuel line at the fuel filter and use the fuel pump to empty the tank and see if there is water in the fuel. Or maybe just check the fuel that comes out of the filter to see if water is there first.

Would using compressed air to blow into the filter line towards the engine flush the lines back to the tank, or would the regulator stop it?

I am still puzzled with the water on the butterfly valve.

OK so now there is still water on the butterfly valve but there are some new issues that are just have me stumped, I had my Blazer towed to the shop because I was running out of time to work on it where I had it sitting. It sat overnight at the shop and the next morning they had to charge the battery and they clame that it started right up for them and they would check on it through out the day and never had an issue. They then tested my fuel presher and said that I needed a new fuel pump, fuel filter, and that someting in my fuel intake may need to be replaced, I Don't have the money they where asking for so I went and picked up the Blazer, It ran just fine for me for two days and now for the stumped part.

It died on my yeasterday with the water on the butterfly valve in the throttle body and it was acting like I had air in the fule line. I have no clue how I am getting so much condinsation in the throttle body, or why my exsast is running so hot and smells like someone just lit a firecracker behind the blazer.

Anyone got any ideas for me?
