Default 1600.00 Dollar Blazer

That is a really good deal it is just broke in although if you can not do the front end work yourself I would definitely look for a different Mechanic because you are getting ripped. I just put a idler arm on my truck the part itself cost 25.00 dollars. You could put a whole new front end on it for the price they want to change a few parts, shop around on the mechanical work if you can not do it yourself.

Yea he said "front end" "pickman arm""idler arm" i believe on the inspection. But I bought it and love it.

Its also started this morning making a scratching noise when I press on the gas only in very low rpms like when im stopped and start moving but only lasts a second. anyone know what this is?

a few of ?`s b4 ya jump and buy and get a sour lemon.... Why are the people selling it ?? and if you keep finding all these problems the more ya look at it, i`d stay away... It sounds like they know more of whats wrong and dont wanna get stuck with a expensive bill to fix it.. If the owner maintained it like they say they did, then you wouldnt need any front end work for 700$. I would keep looking maybe for sumthing newer or sumthing that you find less things wrong with it... Dont get me wrong these blazers do have their glitches everyone on this board can vouch for that... Ball joints constantly wearing out, I could go on forever with all the complaints and ?`s ive seen posted here... Its up to you now to decide are the people yanking your chain!!! Ask for maintenance records!!!!! see if they really did take care of it as they say they did... I was always told trust NO ONE but yourself... If you were to be coming to my house to buy my blazer, I have all records from the day i bought it in 07 ( but mines not for sale) Theres nuttin for me to hide about anything on my blazer... not everyone is honest when they sell their car... Does this help ya any??

The problem was the heat shield and no that didn't help since I already bought it. But I dont trust anyone but these people were honest, they told me things they didnt need to and I could just tell. They were avid church people and very very honest. Im not gonna explain how I know all this but I do.

LOL i wasnt trying to sound like an a-hole Im at work so i have to type quick responses. I do appreciate your help but I already bought it so I cant do much now. Im thinking of throwing it on craigslist for $3500 so i could get something a little newer. But this was the best car for under $2000 I thought i was going to find i've been looking for 3 weeks and looking hard, im talking about refreshing cragslist every twenty minutes to get first dibs on all the good deals and goin straight out there. But with my budget its hard to find a nice car.

I did have it inspected by a mechanic and he said I would be stupid not to buy this.

No problem here either, I guess i worded my feelings worng, Ive had a few bad past days.. and i seem to take it out on the wrong people... Dont only rely on craigslist, I got my Blazer on ebay, I live in NY and Paid for my father to fly down and drive it back.. Ive had no major problems with it yet knock on wood... I`m not sure where ya live but if your looking for sumthing sporty theres a few xtremes on ebay..theers one near where i live for 9995.00 but i`m sure after looking at it last week, the guy could come down a bit in price.. They over price them at used car lots and think a person will pay their price.., but anyways good luck with it if ya keep it and i`ll keep an eye out also for any blazers that i find online or driving around just lemme know what state i should look for , so ya dont have to go to a diff ctry for one LOL.

I just bought mine last week, Its a 97 Blazer LT 4X4... and with a body of 160 000km with a brand new tranny and transfert case, also the engine got only 80 000km and the truck was Rustproof every year! The Price: 2000$ Canadian!

So back to your truck, it's a amazing good price!! You can easy sell it back for 3000$ ! My opinion! Buy it and have fun!
