Hi all,

I have determined that my left front airbag impact sensor (GM p/n 16240665) is bad.

While surfing the web, I came across the following part from PH-Parts being sold on eBay and elsewhere that is apparently a new replacement part. Have any of you had any experience with this? Is it worth the $161 over a part I might get from a junk yard?

When mine went bad I didn't buy new which was in the $300 something range, I had asked and I got one from a member for around $25 and it worked like a charm.

 

wouldn't be worth it to me unless I couldn't get a used one.
