New to me '96 Blazer - Have some questions
#11
I actually thought about doing this. Would I need to put a fan switch somewhere in a freeze plug or something to make it work correctly?
I have the new clutch on the way but I have an electric fan from a 3rd gen F body that would probably be sufficient for this radiator.

Just to add another agreement with the fan clutch; my '95 would howl!!
Something for the future; should all of a sudden the engine has a really rough idle....likely problem is a piece of carbon in the EGR valve keeping the valve open. I had my '95 for many years and had to do remove the EGR several times for this. Engine was still going strong when I sold it with 265k on it.
Missing the cover for the ABS....junk/salvage yard time....
WIthholding comment about being born in '95.......LOL......

Thoughts on closing off EGR entirely? I know it isn't as big of a deal for gas engines as it is diesel but if it wouldn't hurt anything to just remove it as a potential issue I would love to do so. Now that I think about it, it does kind of stumble sometimes when idling, it isn't rough by any means but it isn't smooth either.
