My driver window doesnt work but im pretty sure its the motor for it .. at night i noticed when i hit the driver window button the lights dim just a little but nothing happens.

does this sound like a motor problem? im on ebay and i found one 44 bucks so i wanan get it hoping its whats wrong

Yes, it does sound like a motor problem. I do not believe there is a difference between 98 & 99, but it wouldn't hurt to do a search or two on any one of the online parts store websites (Autozone, Napa, RockAuto, etc) to see what a particular part: #1 - should cost & #2 - is applicable to year range wise.
