i bought a 01 blazer with a blown headgasket so i got a used motor from a junk yard that they said ran fine, after install i could not get it to start on its own. when i spray starting fluid in the throttle body it starts and runs good. my buddy has a s10 just like it so we swapped mass air flow sensos thinkn that could be it but it ran the same. fuel pressue is good and i even replaced the fuel filter thinkn that could help,. what would make it not start on its own.

well with that it tells you it is probably not a fuel problem, i cant remember the place, but check the 2nd gen help area, maybe kyle with pop in and give the link to the no start help thing, or maybe i will again if i find it

https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-ge...anks-ok-45942/

also im not sure why, but i always check the fueses, i would check those as well, not sure if that would cause it but you never know........
