i cant take the squeeking coming from the back of my blazer any more, i read somewhere on here about electric taping the loop that latches the back glass but i cant find the thread where i read it, what part exactly do you tape? the way i read it it sounded as if you taped the actual part that latches but it seems like it wouldnt work right or would get stuck, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

 

Yah it would be on the metal part on the glass that gets grabbed by the locking latch. Take a look under your truck where you parking brake cable runs. Mine was squeaking where it wore through the cable guard at the hanger in front of the wheel.
