noise when braking
just put new brake pads and rotors on the front and back recently. Now theres a strange grinding noise when braking right before I completely stop. I can feel it in the pedal its like a woodpecker. What could be causing this? The abs is unplugged because the sensors went bad.

You didn't turn the rotors before you put them on did you? Can you tell which side is making noise? Since you didn't say what year you have, I don't know how your rotors are mounted. Slip on, bearing held or what?
Pull the front wheels and check your brake calipers as well as the inside of the wheel for score marks from rubbing. Look for any grooving from something mounted wrong as well as marks on the wheel from a mismounted caliper.
