Default Not Getting Gas

I have a 96 4 dr blazer and i drove it fine until yesterday. It shut off on me and then i started it back up. drove it a little while longer everything was fine. I got to another stop and it would not crank. I had it towed home. The next day it wouldnt start either. I checked the fuel line pressure valve. I was not getting any fuel. I tapped on the fuel filter and it started up. I drove it to the store and back home. It drove fine. I got home and it died while i was sitting in it before i turned it off. I tried to start it back up. Nothing and no fuel from fuel pressure valve. Every time i try and start it i hear the fuel pump kicking on. Please if you can help me let me know something.. thank you very much...

im pretty new to working on my blazer, their are some really smart guys that will chime in and will be able to help you better. as far as i know the only thing between the pump and the check valve is the filter, it could be clogged and not letting gas thru. you might want to do a pressure test also, your pump could be running but not pumping enough pressure to do the job. use the search menu and that will help you alot, just about any problem you could have has been discussed here. good luck with your truck.
