Obd II
I recently bought a scanner to find out why the SES lies on both my 2000 Blazer and my wife's 2002 Tracker (Suziki) were lit. I was able to do the tracker bu the unit will not link to the Blazer. After a whole bunch of net surfing, I decided to go out and take a look at the electrical and the OBDII socket. Couldn't find any bad fuses, but did find something weird on the socket. I have wires in 2, 4, 5, 13, & 16. Everyplace I have looked does not indicate a contact in 13. Can someone take a look at their 2000 Blazer and see if they have a contact in 13. This is starting to drive me a little nuts.

You did turn the ignition on with the engine off didn't you? Then start it? An extra wire won't hurt but I have seen vehicles with a bad connection. Alas, GM is the worst for that. What brand scanner did you get?
The instructions that came with scanner didn't mention anything about starting, but I did start test with ignition turned off then turned it on. Then I started it still no difference. The unit is a Chinese one only ID is U430 memoscan. Thought I had a copy of manual on computer but can't find it.
