That's the one I would recommend if you need to work on ABS and SIR. See post #1. It will do a lot more than most wired scanners. Be sure to buy the one for GM and then update the firmware through internet. Still you need to follow factory diagnostic charts.

Is there an obd2 scanner without Bluetooth that you recommend for just reading and clearing check engine codes?

any OBD2 scan tool will do that. We always search for much more capability.

l know any scanner will do that. What l want to know is which brands do you recommend for scanners without Bluetooth that last long and have good customer service.

I like Actron. Didn’t care for Innova.

Anyone know the steps to get the CMP correlation or I guess it’s also called Cam retard PID to work on dash command ap? I need to check this because I replaced the cam position sensor and I can’t get this PID to show up on the ap, so I can use it. I purchased the extra GMC PID package on the ap, but I can’t get it to engage or show up anyplace. I can see the Cam retard on the list in the data grid but I can’t seem to find it anyplace that it can be used. Thanks

Please provide the vehicle and engine data. A bit difficult to guess the engine type and year.
