changed the air filter this weekend...the spot closest to the maf sensor was soaked in oil....so was the the bottom of the air box...any ideas?

 

First thing is to make sure you clean out the MAF with MAF cleaner. I am not sure how oil would have gotten into your air box. I would clean all of it out and keep an eye on it to see if it comes back.

 

I cleaned everything up...checked the pcv system...I was getting thay annoying rattle from the pcv valve..replaced it and it went away but came back...I searched the forms but didn't come up with a direct answer why it rattles
