Oil cooler lines BAD leak, HELP!!!
Hey Guys, Feel like I've been hitting my head against a wall with my 03 ZR2 Blazer......
So 1st, the radiator blew out on me, like they all do. I got one from advanced, put it in, everything was fine until I noticed a good oil leak coming down the outside of my frame, drivers side of course. So a long story short, I started looking and it's my oil cooler lines, the pressure fitting where they go into the radiator had quite a bit of slack when they were in and you could wiggle them back and forth. Even tried someone pushing them in with someone else putting the clip in, but they will still lose.
So I went down to the parts store and bought both (2) upper and lower oil cooler lines and they seemed to be a tighter but it still leaks, bad. and yes, the new radiator had the o'rings for the cooler lines in it. I gotta get this thing back on the road...PLEASE HELP!!!

Turns out it was the damn o'rings in the fitting in the radiator itself!!! Crazy that that's what it was...brand new radiator, brand new lines and they put the wrong size rings in when they made it, but I guess that's what you get most of the time these days.
