Default Oil leak

I was under my 2000 blazer today when I noticed a few spots on my garage floor. So I took a look and sure enough on the left front differential right after the metal cup that comes out of the differential going left towards the wheel it was all wet with oil. However it is leaking at an extremely slow pace...like 10 drops a day...if that. What should I do, just leave it until it gets worse? I can imagine it’s just an old seal.

personally, I'd just keep an eye on it and make sure the oil level is ok in the front diff. Then I would plan for a weekend repair when the weather is a little better. Maybe when it's time to change the front brakes or something. Then you have time to get all your parts organized and study up on how to do the repair and what tools will be needed.
Obviously you don't want to let it go for to long or you will need to do a front diff overhaul also, if the oil gets to low and your bearings get dry and damaged.

Hmm, ok. How do you keep track of how much oil is in the front diff? There is no dipstick or anything on it...

There is a filler plug. Remove the plug and stick your finger in. The oil level should be very close to the threads of the filler plug.
It should be a 15mm bolt.

So this is at the top of the diff, I am guessing this is going to be hard to get my hand at.

If you have a skid plate, remove the 4 bolts that hold it up and you will have lots of room.
