Default oil lines :)

I gotta replace my oil lines on Saturday for my 95 Chevy Blazer.Anybody got any tips or horror stories? The 2 sets are the ones that run from the fuel filter to the radiator, then the fuel filter to the radiator. The O-rings are coming with it along with the aluminium ends.

I don't mean to be a jerk but your reference of fuel filter is a little off...and the two sets of lines are one from the radiator cooler to the remote oil filter mount and then from there to the remote oil line at the block...

Just make sure the oil lines click into the radiator good. Its fairly simple. But what do you mean the oil lines coming from the fuel filter?

just got doing doing both sets in my 95 4x4. 2 special tools you'l need are a long extension (approx. 3 feet) and a swivel link

the lines that go from the rad to filter are easy as hell, however the two lines that go to the back of the engine are diff for three reasons:

1. on 95 4x4 engine has to be jacked up a little
2. bolt that goes to mount on the back of engine (thebolt that goes in the holein the oil cooler hose mounting plate) is very hard to get to
3. there is a "bracket rod" that goes right between the two hoses has to be removed

I managed to get them done on saturday, 5 and a half hours of HELL. The line to the radiator took only a few minutes, but the second set tookALOT of tearing apart lol.
