Post Oil pressure switch location

I'm new here and need help finding the oil pressure sensor on the engine block. I have a 1999 blazer LS 4.3 v6 vortech and the oil gauge has been moving erratically, usually on a stop. I went through this forum and all I could find was this diagram Photobucket

Can anyone confirm this is the location?, thanks in advance.

Yep you got it. Under the distributor, driver's side. Bit of a pain to get to. Might think about pulling the distributor out for better access.

Good luck.

If you remove the distributor, wont you have to do the check also?

I have not been able to figure out how to install it without pulling the distributor.
