if its a 96and up its right next to the distributor towards drivers side., mostly undernieth the distributor. bit of advice its hard to access. take cap off atleast and its doable with dis. in still. block is 1/8'' npt, sender 1/4'' npt. fitting comes outa block up and is a 90' angle and the sizes change. if u take the sender out then u can take the elbow out, just dont snap it off taking sensor out its brass! im not sure on these but the gm trucks required stock to hooked up or if comp didnt read o.p. it would shut down the fuel pump. so what im saying is maybe take all old stuff out and mount a block on the wall to hook up at. oe sensor is 1 wire and base must be grounded. i use a grease gun whip for a hose to do this doing o.p. tests, they are 1/8'' npt, but i dont know if i would trust to take the heat long enough, have maybe napa make u up a hydraulic hose and should last. good luck!

If its 4x4 and the filter is remoted you can put it there. Just make shure you have a good ground. Put one on a remote on by boat once, took me days to realize the remote was bolted to fiberglass and had to run a wire to ground. Pfffff.
