Default Which is the out transmission line on radiator?

Hi,
I am putting in a transmission oil cooler and I want to run it after it goes through the radiator. The lines run in the radiator both on the passenger side, one at the bottom and the other towards the top. Which one is the transmission fluid going out of the radiator? I got a little ahead of myself and already have the old radiator out along with a few other things so I can't crank it over to see which is which.

This is on a 96 Blazer 4x4 4 door.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Todd

Hello Mr.T

I uploaded a drawing of the cooler lines. I don't know myself
but I am sure somebody can tell us. 1 and 4 go together
which are both at the top and 2 and 3 goes together which are
both at the bottom. Hope this helps.

Top should be the return line. Sometimes the radiator is marked. If I understand correctly the fluid is supposed to go into the bottom of the radiator, circulate upwards to be cooled before going back to the transmission. Here is the related thread I found.

Thanks guys for the replies.

Pheaton, thanks for that link, that was exactly what I was looking for. Now I can get this thing back together.

Thanks,
Todd
