Default Overhead cluster

I was driving the last night when I looked up to see how cold it was and realized that my direction wasn't showing up on my cluster. Instead it was just showing a C. It keeps coming on and off. Does this mean something?

means you need to calibrate. drive in a tight circle for 3 or 4 consecutive times, and that should get it all set up.

I got it working again. I didn't drive in a tight circle like you said, I just drove around a parking lot trying to find a space and it came back on. It has worked fine since then, but what might have caused that?

Anything magnetic or metallic that sits close to the overhead console can screw it up. Sometimes it is just dumb luck that causes it to screw up. In my old '01 Bonneville, my fire gear, if placed to the front of the trunk, would cause the compass to go all wonky.

I am not sure what might have thrown it off but I'm glad it's back.
