Can the P0143 code cause a misfire code? I haven't gotten the misfire code in a while after changing plugs and wires but I still barely hear and feel the small hiccups.

One odd thing about the P0143 code is that I ALWAYS get this code when passing by an airport that I used to work at, it never fails. But now I just got the code while very far away from the airport which hasn't happened before.
I don't know if it is radar or what that sets that code off.
