Classic symptom of a faulty distributor cap & rotor and or spark plug wires. Use AC Delco only, especially the cap & rotor. Also check camshaft retard and adjust it if necessary. If it's out of spec, it will contribute to crossfire inside the cap making a cheap quality or worn cap even worse.
