A while back I had my fuel pump replaced by a friend. He did it with a newer style fuel assy. He had to rewire it to with a new connection for it to work. (The rewiring he did looks fine.) Everything is color coded, so I really don't think he rewired anything wrong. After that I was having the P0449 (evap emission control system vent valve/solenoid circuit malfunction) and P0453 (evap emissions control system pressure sensor high input) I pulled off my Vent Valve Solenoid and it was full of dirt (and rattles pretty loudly when shaken) so I cleaned it out and I'm replacing it with one from the junkyard (also rattles, but not nearly as bad).

Should I order a new Vent Valve Solenoid, or could it be my computer rejecting the new Fuel assy?
