Finally got my lemur blue driver and I scanned the check engine light that was apparently due to a "bad gas cap" according to some guy at OReillys when I was up in Oregon.
So the code is P0453 FTP sensor High voltage.
I searched on here and saw that people usually had it with other codes and when I looked up the schematics picture on the DTC code section the picture resolution was too small to be able to read anything.
What is the most common cause for this code? I have no other codes and the car is running perfectly fine. Also no gas smell what so ever.
Also where is the FTP sensor located?
Its a 4 door 2001 Blazer
Thanks!

The fuel tank pressure sensor is part of the fuel pump module, and it can be serviced separately. Or, it comes with a new fuel pump module. The fuel tank must be lowered to access the sensor. NOTE: While lowering the tank on your 4 door, be aware there is an EVAP fitting with a nylon line at the forward end of the tank. If you are not careful, the fitting will break, (they are not cheap).
Follow the steps in this flow chart, and it will take you to the problem. To view the flow charts, right click on the image, and click "Open". https://blazerforum.com/forum/diagno...plained-27564/

The fuel tank pressure sensor, fuel level sensor, and the fuel pump, are all part of the fuel pump module. Each one can be serviced separately if you choose. Sounds like your level sensor could be failing. Follow the instructions in the link in post # 2 to diagnose the pressure sensor. Follow this link to test the pump: https://blazerforum.com/forum/2nd-ge...eakdown-88305/
AC Delco/Delphi fuel pump modules are usually good for 100K miles. Aftermarket units usually fail anywhere from just before you open the box, to as many as 50K miles, if you're real lucky.

Ok so I just dropped the tank this morning to change the fuel pump which I wanted to do for a while. Last night I noticed that gas smell was coming from my exhaust pipe so I figured I wanna do the pump change now.
I was still not able to open the pictures on the P0453 thread, I tried two different browsers and also another computer and my phone, the picture is simply too small to see and when zoomed in, it gets blurry.
Anyways I checked the FTP sensor connector and it looked just fine to me. I was wondering If I can turn key on the car to the ON position and check the readings to the sensor with a multi meter to confirm that the wiring is okay. If anybody knows which of the wires I should check and what reading I should get please let me know. If its on the picture files then I would appreciate if someone who can see them could upload it to tinypic or something like that.

Ignition in the RUN position, the grey wire should show approximately 5 volts, (DC). The black wire should show less than 5 ohms resistance to ground. Voltage on the dark green wire will vary depending on tank pressure.
