Why does everything happen at night.. lol

I'm driving tonight and my parking brake light has come on, and i start sayin to myself wtf is that about.. i pull over depress the parking brake and release it a few times and the light does not go off.. I'm thinking a sensor of some sort is loose any every have this problem? My brake isn't stuck thats a definite to.

I don't know exactly in the Blazers but in many cars the same light is used to indicate low brake fluid level. Check that just in case.
