PCM - How scan reads ?
How or what is telling a scan reader... the vin # of the
donor vehicle, where I got my replcment engine from.?
The black box pcm sitting on top of radiator overflow
has the same numbers on the sticker so i am assuming they
didn't change the box. ??
The top right of image below shows Vin # from the donor blazer
where engine came from.

Not sure unless innova remembers vin from old scans. It should be reading the VIN programmed into the PCM. You may want to discuss with person who installed the engine.

Yep gonna get more detail he is changing my Belt Tensioner Friday eve, so I will have more time to chat him up then.
